Sentai Acquires Anime Series Mushibugyo

Sentai announced Thursday that it has acquired the Mushibugyo anime series and will start distributing it to fans around the world.

Along with announcing their acquisition, Sentai also announced that it would distribute the anime to audiences located in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Africa South, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, Spain, Portugal, Central America and South America. That should cover most people interested in checking out the anime who might not have had the chance yet.

Mushibugyo is an anime based on a manga written by Hiroshi Fukuda which was launched in 2009 and lasted until 2010. The anime consisted of 26 episodes which originally premiered in April 2013 and ended in September 2013 when it was ended. The series is directed by Takayuki Hamana, with animation by Seven Arcs Pictures. Yoshimitsu Yamashita is providing the series’ character designs, while the score and music are handled by Yoichi Kato.
